Long stockings, sea silk, plain right knit, many damaged areas.

These stockings are on permanent loan from the Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich; they come from the Orban Collection of the Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich.

The Jesuit priest Ferdinand Orban (1655-1732) had established a chamber of art and curiosities in Ingolstadt. After his death the collection went to the Jesuit order. In 1764 an inventory is said to have been made.
