Single long lady’s glove, time and origin unknown. D-Munich, Zoological Collection Munich ZSM (MS inventory 31).
Sea silk, plain right knit, heavily damaged, possibly open thumb and index finger.
According to Enrico Schwabe, researcher at the Munich Museum, this glove belongs to the old museum collection: ”There is a short ‘hand written story’ to the objects, which indicate this object as was made from the byssus of Pinna squamosa” (E. Schwabe).
