Collar and cuffs a pelliccia, 19th century, Sardinia. I-Padova, Istituto sperimentale della zoologia agraria, Sezione Specializzata per la Bachicoltura (MS Inventory 12).

Sea silk fur a pelliccia on dark red, taffeta-like fabric, sewn on with fine machine stitches; it belongs to a lady’s dress in the same colour. Collar width 8,8 cm, length 26,6 cm; with two textile buttons each 3,3 cm . Damage due to wear, especially on the edge of the collar.

Sergio Flore examined these two objects in his Tesi di Laurea at the University of Urbino and made suggestions for their restoration.
